Leadership Certificate Program

Cost: $250 per course or $1100 for Certificate Program

The Leadership Certificate program is designed to support the changing demands on nonprofit leaders to enhance management skills and operate more efficiently and effectively.    

Proposal Writing Workshop

September 19 – November 28, 2007 (every other week)

9:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Cost: $60 per session or $310 for series  

“This class is a must for anyone who needs to begin the grant-writing process. In addition, it is an excellent review for experienced grant-writers to fine tune their skills. Instructor, Betsy Swenson, leads students through the step-by-step process in a ‘user friendly’ style..” Jean Heise, President, The Haven Network for Perinatal Death & Bereavement   Series topics include: Grant Readiness; Researching Funders; Introduction to Logic Models & Outcome Statements; Proposal Writing Language & Mechanics; Developing Proposal Budgets; Writing Federal Proposals.  

Effective Governance – Nonprofit Board Training ~

October 17, 2007 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Cost: $40 per person  

This training is designed for current board members, potential board members, and nonprofit executive staff members interested in current information for effective governance.   Topics include:  Responsibility; Liability; Practice; Ask the Experts Panel.
