Vendor Participation
The Junior League of Rockford’s 2009 Fundraiser, Eat. Live. Relax., is a home tour dedicated to beautiful and sophisticated kitchens and living spaces in ten Rockford area homes. This weekend event is designed around the same lines as our successful Dine by Design Kitchen Tour and Unique Spaces Tour. It will be held Saturday, May 2, 2009 and Sunday, May 3, 2009 from 10:00AM – 5:00PM. The idea behind this event is to strike the imagination of the attendees by showcasing 10 amazing spaces that have unique features displaying the latest in design trends. We plan to have the professionals involved in the design of the room staffing each space to point out key elements, answer questions and market their services and products. Some homes may have special speakers, demonstrations, vendors or other related attractions as well. In 2006 and 2007, the Dine by Design Kitchen Tour and the Unique Spaces Tour respectively, had over fifteen hundred attendees tour our kitchens and unique spaces each year. The Junior League of Rockford expects the turnout to be the same as our past tours. Proceeds from the home tour will support Junior League projects and programs, such as our recent project, RAISE (Reaching and Inspiring Students for Education), a one-on-one mentoring program aimed to increase access to and success in post high school education for financially disadvantaged, underrepresented and first generation college students from the Rockford Public School System. Participation Levels and Benefits $150 Staff Space: Market your products and/or services by working in a selected home during the tour, on Saturday, May 2, 2009 and Sunday, May 3, 2009, between the hours of 10:00am – 5:00pm. Mention in the home tour guidebook. Display Marketing Materials: Display your business cards and/or other marketing materials in selected home during the weekend of the tour.
